Eodem is a deconstruction and waste management company whose goal is to promote sustainability through green building practices. Ecodem has developed a deconstruction process which allows them to reuse or recycle the construction materials they dismantle, without affecting deadlines or budgets. Ecodem believes there is a social responsibility that falls on contractors, project managers and owners to make responsible decisions that are environmentally conscious. Being members of the Canadian Green Building Council and the Building Owners and Managers Association, Ecodem believes strongly in sustainable development through responsible building practices.

Ecodem provides numerous services which help facilitate the recycling process, including deconstruction, construction waste management, LEED waste management plans and even containers. Ecodem can meet the most stringent recycling objectives. Moreover, recycling has always been standard practice, even when not specified by clients. Ecodem applies LEED recycling principles to all projects.

The Ecodem staff has an enormous amount of construction experience under its belt;  well over 100 years when combined. This experience extends well beyond basic deconstruction and spans building, renovations and even mechanical trades. This broad range of expertise ensures that no project is too complex or too delicate.

Ecodem also employs a full time LEED AP which ensures that the deconstruction practices meet green building standards. Staff regularly speak at green construction events and are at the leading edge of their field.
